Established in 1998, Art Village Gallery is a contemporary fine art gallery dedicated to promoting and supporting emerging and established international artists with a focus on Africa and its Diaspora. The gallery was a pioneer in establishing the South Main Arts District located in downtown Memphis, TN and also the monthly art walk.
Sustaining three exhibition spaces spanning over 7,000 square feet, the gallery's programming focuses on culturally significant exhibitions and frequently launches gallery talks, lectures, exhibition dinners, art documentary and music series, literary and performing art events and experiences that inspire an appreciation for diversity and culture. The gallery also houses the permanent collection of artist and founder, Ephraim Urevbu's work and is currently led by Sheila Urevbu.
The gallery is currently not accepting artist portfolio submissions.
